Baby T

Isn't she so sweet! She was a great model for my new hats. As soon as mom was holding her under the blanket/backdrop she fell into a deep sleep.I ended up taking a few rows out of the zebra hat and redoing the ear flaps so hopefully next time around it will fit a little better. This it the first photo shoot I have gotten these wings to look right. I almost got rid of them. So glad I didn't. This is one of my favorite pictures of this photo shoot. Which one is yours?

The Eidsvold Family

This was my first family photo shoot. We all had so much fun! At least I did, I'm not so sure about the kiddos :0) They were all really great sports and did just what I asked. I'm still not done with all the edits but I thought I would put a few of my favorites up now. Aren't they such cute family!!!!
Things I learned today:
#1 Don't cut peoples feet off of the picture (I still love this picture, but I should have pulled back just a little bit)

#2 Bring candy as a bribe for little kids (so wished I had remembered the candy sitting on my kitchen counter, it was in the plans it just didn't make it there. this was one of the best smiles I got out of that cute little 3 year old boy.)

#3 I have an obsession with feet! Don't forget to focus in on them.
But if you do forget you can always crop them later like I did in this photo. It ended up being one of my favorites of the whole day.
#4 Always listen to the kids ques and know when it is time to quite. (The little baby was done by this point. We went over to some grass to play where I got some great candid shots of the kiddos)
Thanks for being the 1st!!! You guys are so awesome!

New Hats

I have been working really hard this last week to build up my hat collection. I was so lucky to have this sweet baby, born on Christmas day, to model them for me. I can't wait for next year so I can use my Christmas ones again!I really did make all of these last week (except for the one red, white, and green one). I was a crocheting machine. I just kept getting more ideas from Pinterest. I still have at least 5 more that I want to make. I don't follow a pattern I just make it up as I go or use a picture to help guide me. I absolutely love the diaper cover! I still need to work on my pattern a little to make sure it fits better but I think I did pretty well not having a baby to help fit it to and just making up the pattern as I went. I can't wait to make them in several different colors. If you have any ideas for me of a hat I should try and make just pin it and let me know or email me a picture or a link.
